Cleveland Browns Stadium is located in the heart of downtown Cleveland and home of the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League. The stadium is within walking distance to the shores of Lake Eerie, and has hosted hundreds of college and high school football games, soccer games, concerts, and live performances. It sits on the former site of the Cleveland Municipal Stadium and was designed by the Sport Division of HOK. The concrete and glass structure has become one of the city’s most popular event venues and attractions.

Events at Cleveland Browns Stadium

In addition to hosting Cleveland Browns NFL football games, the stadium has hosted numerous college and high school football games, including the Ohio Classic college football game in 2004 and 2005, the Bowling Green Falcons-Wisconsin Badgers game in 2006, and the Patriot Bowl in 2007. The stadium played host to the playoff games of the Ohio High School Athletic Association tournament in 2010, and also hosted a FIFA World Cup game between the United States and Venezuela in 2006.

The Cleveland Browns Stadium will serve as the one of the hosts of the 2014 Gay Games.

The Cleveland Browns Stadium opened in 1999 and features several modern amenities and conveniences. Ticket holders can enjoy views of the downtown skyline from the upper level bridges connecting the sideline and end zone seating, and the special lighting structures highlight the columns and beams supporting the upper deck and sideline canopies.

The Cleveland Browns Stadium can accommodate for up to 73,200 people, and features 8,801 Club Seats, 145 Luxury Suites and guests can pick up souvenirs and snacks at the Cleveland Browns Team Shop located on the south side of the Stadium. The entire facility spans 1.64 million square feet.
